Standard Baggage Fee: 1st-10th bag: $25 each Overweight Baggage Fee: 51-70 lbs: $50 71-100 lbs: $100 Oversize Baggage Fee: (L + W + H) 63-80 inches: $50 Max Weight: 100 lbs. Max Size: 80 in. Carry-On Items: One personal item and one bag not to exceed 50 inches and must fit in the overhead bin or under the guest seat. Notes: Virgin American allows you to bring quite a few bags at very reasonable rates. Up to 10 bags at only $25 a piece is unheard of at virtually every other airline. However, bags do incur multiple fees. If your bag is overweight and oversize, you will be charged the standard fee + overweight + oversize for each piece of baggage.
