Standard Baggage Fee: 1st bag: $25 2nd bag: $35 3rd+ bag: $100 Overweight Baggage Fee: 51-70 lbs: $100 71-99.9 lbs: $200 Oversize Baggage Fee: (L + W + H) 62-115 inches: $100 Max Weight: 99.9 lbs. Max Size: 115 in. Carry-On Items: One bag that cannot exceed 45 inches (14 x 9 x 22) is allowed for carry-on. Also allowed is one personal item of similar size. Notes: United baggage fees are pretty straight forward. If your bag is applicable to a fee, it will be charged. What this means, if your bag is overweight and oversize, you will be charged the standard baggage fee + the overweight fee + the oversize fee.
