You are allowed one carry-on and one personal item not to exceed 45 inches. Both items have to be able to fit in the overhead bin or under the seat.

Thank you for your quick response and link to them on amazon. Ordered some for my trip. Have a great day!

Absolutely they do, and we highly recommend using them. In case you're interested, we personally use the
Samsonite Space Saver Bags which you can find on Amazon. They will significantly reduce the size of the clothing and other miscellaneous items you travel with.

Does TSA and the airlines allow the use of space saver bags for packing suitcases?

The Delta Airlines standard baggage charges your 1st bag $25 and your 2nd bag $35, for a total of $60 for the two bags. This is for US Domestic travel. International prices are different.

Delta baggage policy, just like with the majority of the airlines, has a limit of 50 lbs per bag. They do not add up the total of 2 or more bags.

Is 2 bags $35 or is it $60 for the 2 bags

If I am checking in 2 bags - is the weight of the 2 bags together for 50 pounds or is it 50 pounds per bag.

It says carry on should not exceed 45" but how do I measure that. Height is 21" & width is 8".
Is this concidered correct size for carry on.

Thank you for the information.

When measuring luggage, you have to measure everything. This includes the size of the wheels and protruding handles. Most bags are designed to fit right at or under the 62 inch size limit. If you are that close, it would be our guess your bag was designed to not go over this limit. And keep in mind, it is up to the service agent at the airport to decide to charge you if you are over by just a bit.

When measuring luggage do you also measure the wheels. Because I have a 29" luggage, but measures 30" from floor. It is very close to the 62" limit.

Hi Joe, we have a
Delta Airlines golf bag fee page that should answer this question. Oversize fees for golf clubs are waived if you are only checking in one other bag with your golf bag. Your golf bag will simply be charged $25 (domestic) and your other checked-in bag will be charged $35. If you check-in 2 bags with your golf bag, you will be charged the oversize fee. Happy golfing!

Are my golf clubs considered over-sized if they are 50 inches tall and 14 inches wide but weigh less than 50 pounds? How much would it cost to fly with them?

Liquids, gels, aerosols, and pastes limit each container to a maximum size of 3.4 oz and need to be in a single quart-size, clear plastic, zip-top bag. The items you listed above do not fit into this category and will be fine in a cosmetic bag. Happy travels!

Traveling for a quick get a way with just a carry on and unsure of my restrictions. I am aware of the 3oz liquid in a quart size bag, but do i need my mascara, blush, vitamins to fit in a clear quart size bag or can i use a cosmetic bag? I just can't seem to find the fine print of do's and don't, maybe I am not looking in the right spot.
Thanks for your help, don't travel much.

Go figure I'm charged the highest possible fee. Thanks for the info.

Jonathan, actually neither of your amounts are correct. With Delta Airlines baggage, you are charged the overweight fee + the standard baggage fee. In your case, you have two bags and one is overweight. Your total is $25 + $90 for the 1st bag + $35 for the 2nd bag = $150. Let us know if you have any other questions.

I just want to confirm that I am reading this correctly. I am flying Delta airlines from LA to NY with 2 bags. One weighs 62 lbs. What is my total going to be, $90 + $25 or $90 + $35?
