Standard Baggage Fee: 1st bag: Free

2nd bag: $60 or $51 if paid in advance on
3rd+ bag: $140 or $119 in paid in advance on
Overweight Baggage Fee: 51-70 lbs: $60
70+ lbs: must be shipped separately as freight or cargo.
Oversize Baggage Fee:

Bags under 35.5in x 29.5in x 16in do not incur fees (81 linear inches). Bags over this size (but under 130 linear inches) will incur a charge that is determined at the airport. The likely fee will be the same as overweight fees, but could be more or less. Bags over 130 linear inches must be shipped via cargo.
Max Weight: 70 lbs.
Max Size: 130 in.
Carry-On Items: One piece of hand baggage plus a laptop or handbag is allowed. 51 lbs is the maximum bag weight and 22in x 18in x 10in is the maximum size.
Notes: British Airways baggage fees are pretty reasonable, especially if you pay for baggage ahead of your departure on If your bag is overweight, you will be charged the overweight fee + the standard bag fee. If your bag is over the maximum free baggage size, the cost to ship your bag will be determined at the airport.
